Stubborn..

How can so many people say that "taking me off the schedule" is a mistake and the owner won't budge at all?
I guess there's no ice cream shop for me, or anything else for that matter.

I used to say that the only way I'd leave was if they got rid of me, and hoped for it before because I feared being there forever.

Now, I don't know what I'm thinking.

Aw, man. I certainly hope things work out for the best! I actually have work at a full-scale concession stand (at the A-C Pool) for four years now. I do all the cooking and the cashier-ing and the training. I make hot dogs and burgers and grilled cheese and chicken tenders and fries and pizza and pretzels a ton more crap. It gets so frustrating when you have to train workers who are ignorant and then when you get stuck on a shift with them you have to do your job and theirs! If I'm grilling, I don't want to be on the register and at the window! That job will begin again in May, and I just got hired at Friendly's to be on Fountain and as a waitress. I can only imagine I will be able to empathize with your blog even more! WHOA, what a novel of a comment.
